Our Weekend...

For the 24th of July, our little family decided to go down to Torrey and stay at a hotel there. We had such a great time. On our way down we stopped at Fish Lake and visited my family just as they were packing up and heading home then we drove to Capitol Reef and went hiking. It was beautiful, we were down in a river bed looking up at all the cliffs. There were lots of petroglyphs and names written on the caves. Then we went to our hotel in Torrey and played tennis and went swimming in the pool to cool off from the hot day. The next morning we slept in then got a smoothie at this little juice and java bar there it was so delicious. Then we drove 2 hours to Bryce Canyon. We went to a couple of the look outs then went for a hike. This one was a little more intense then the day before. I'll be honest I was freaking out, there were steep drop offs on both sides, and we had Ethan on our backs the whole time. but once you got down in it was really worth it! Then we headed back and stopped at a restaurant called Cafe Diablo, it was really good food. Then the next morning we headed home! On the way home we hit a lot of rain storms, and I read James his Harry Potter book while we drove. It was a wonderful trip!
